Who loves a good pancake? They are one very versatile piece of food! You can enjoy them hot or cold, savoury or sweet, for breakfast or tea, etc… Not only can you enjoy them in so many different ways, but there’s also lots of different types of pancakes to choose from; America, English, French, Japanese, Russian, etc…. Right around the world, countries have their own traditional pancake recipe! Last year I made Russian style pancakes, which they eat traditionally at Easter. Their pancakes are made with Quark. If you would like more details about their recipe, check out my blog; Russian Pancakes.
I can’t decide which is my favourite type of pancake, or what my favourite topping is! I do love a traditional English pancake which we enjoy every Shove Tuesday, covered in lemon juice and sugar! However, I do also love a stack of American pancakes carved in chocolate and raspberries!
